GIFT City (Gujarat International Finance Tec-City) is an initiative conceptualized by Prime Minister Shree Narendra Modi. GIFT City has been approved by Government of India (GOI) as a multi services Special Economic Zone (GIFT SEZ). This SEZ is notified as the first International Financial Services Centre (IFSC) in India. It is free trade zone with various tax incentives enabling flow of finance, financial products, and service across borders.
